Registration of accommodation

Visits
The methods of visiting the accommodation are specified in detail in the offer; please contact the person indicated to organise a meeting and make sure that the accommodation corresponds to your selection criteria.

 

Documents to be produced
The following documents are required for each holder of a lease contract:

 

NB: You only need to supply photocopies of the documents requested.

Registration forms

 

Income

  • Salaried employees: Last three payslips.
  • Self-employed: Certified balance sheet and profit-and-loss account, signed and dated.
  • Pensioners/retired: old-age pension, disability and unemployment benefits.

 

Identity

  • For people from Geneva: identity card
  • For other Swiss citizens: permis d’établissement (residence permit for those who have lived in Switzerland for over 10 years).
  • For foreigners: permis de séjour (visitors permit, visa, etc.).

 

Legal proceedings

Certificate from the Office of legal proceedings from the last three months.

Insurance

  • A copy of your civil-liability insurance contract or an insurance certificate (download form).
  • If you do not have insurance, please contact our insurance broker, IBC, Mr. Sandro Pezzoni, Tel. 022 707 83 44, boulevard Helvétique 31, 1207 Geneva.

 

For subsidised accommodation

Please download the official accommodation request. This document includes all methods of filing your application for leasing subsidised accommodation (download form).

 


Registration of commercial properties

The following documents are required for each person wishing to lease commercial premises:
